Multi-effect falling film evaporator design argument

1. Falling film evaporation is a project of separation of materials and water. How to achieve short heating time in the separation process (about 3-5 seconds for one-way heating), one-time meeting the concentration requirement is the basic design requirement (we call it DC evaporator) ). Many manufacturers now design a cycle process to repeatedly heat the material, which violates the basic design requirements of falling film evaporation, while increasing the pump load and power consumption.
2, the purpose of multi-effect is to save energy (such as three-effect heat pump to achieve 0.28T raw steam evaporation 1T water) is also a basic requirement. If the basic requirements are not met, the consumption of steam and cooling water will increase.
Based on the above two points, factors such as material flow direction, material distribution, temperature difference value, heating tube selection, secondary steam specific volume increase coefficient and condensation system need to be considered when designing multi-effect evaporator. Due to the large number of considerations, equipment users and equipment manufacturers need to communicate face to face, only designers can theoretically understand the design parameters, in order to design an efficient and energy-saving multi-effect falling film DC evaporator.
